Why bother, I'm sure you would be able to find a group with much greater ease ingame, just about everyone will be saying "lfg for sorrows furnace"

I've gotten blind invites on my mesmer before, so it's not unfathomable

LFG for xxx, all welcome! Even Mesmers!

Take the first seven invites you get and go. Trust me, it's a blast.

My mesmer got some serious love a couple days ago. I joined a skill cap group for Iron Mines. We capped every boss but Markis, but then a bunch of people dropped. All that was left was me (Me/N) and two rangers R/Mo and R/W. The R/Mo died to the Mursaat guarding Markis and me and the R/W had burned our signets earlier. The two of us killed Markis ourselves, rezed the R/Mo and they both got their Barrage cap. Best... Mesmer... moment.. EVAR (at least for me )

On topic: I don't think finding a group is going to be hard for anyone, even mesmers and necros. This is a VERY high level zone. I'd imagine that a good mesmer or necro would be very much welcome. I know I'd want one.

a smart group will have a bit of everything because they don't know what to expect. even pet rangers, necro will be a must, mesmers will likely be as useful as always (very)

the first time you go to Grenths Footprint you would be advised to take a well rounded group with a bit of everything.

Considering the difficulty of the areas being presented to us, a mesmer and a necro would be perfect for the task.
Stone summit = arcanists...lots of them. Backfire will be like an elite down there and those yummy wells with blood is power will be crucial i think.

My biggest fear will be the latency.

Latency won't matter though because each group spawns their own environment. It might take a while for you to load each of the new areas and download it, but it won't be so bad once you've gotten the upgrade and visited the area.

Lol, that's one reason why after pretty much winding my warrior up and then starting to progress through the Shiverpeaks with an Elementalist, I decided to get started on a monk. Sure she's miles off ascension, but it's worth it for being able to pick and choose which group to join

Sorrow's Furnace and Greneths is very easy if you have a minion master in your party. They go down pretty quick, and the NPC does a good job keeping the minions alive. I'd be able to solo (with select henches) the first few missions if I didn't have to watch that one high priest for patrols. May try to wipe out the patrols first.

Defending Droknar's however requires a different set of skills. Corpse Explosion makes quick work of the titans though

Hope that helps the necros that can't find a party - you don't need one!
